However, soon after Lewis won his 3rd championship, the couple announced their split. The decision sent major shockwaves around the world as fans mourned the end of the relationship.

Lewis Hamilton and Nicole Scherzinger were in an on-and-off relationship for around 8 years. In their time together, the couple shared a lot of iconic moments. Lewis Hamilton also bought a special love nest for the American singer in his ancestral home in Granada.
However, after their breakup, Hamilton canceled the purchase of the house. Hamilton apparently couldn’t bear the sight of it. In fact, the villa was customized according to his need.
The stunning villa also includes a gym that Hamilton designed and a recording studio which he built for his Pussycat Dolls partner. The estimated cost to buy the luxurious villa is around $4 million.

Lewis Hamilton fears F1’s integrity is at stake over budget cap issue
Mercedes star and last year’s unfortunate runner-up in the championship feels F1’s integrity is at stake currently. Lewis Hamilton has exerted pressure on the (Federation Internationale de l’Automobile) FIA to punish Red Bull if found guilty of breaching the budget cap. Earlier, Mercedes boss Toto Wolff also spoke against Red Bull and Christian Horner.

Talking before the Japanese GP, Lewis said, “I think it’s imperative, honestly, just for transparency. I think we need to continue to have transparency for the fans, for the integrity of the sport. I obviously know there’s lots of conversations that are going on in the background. No one truly knows.”
The Mercedes driver also added that he, like the rest of the fans, was expecting results to come out yesterday. He stated, “I would like to think that if it’s been delayed it’s because it’s been taken very seriously and I trust that Mohammed [bin Sulayem, FIA president] is taking it seriously and will do what is right for the sport, I hope.”
